HOSTAGES has been out for a week, and something unexpected keeps happening.

I've been getting messages from people who've known me for 20 or 30 years — people who've heard every band, every record, every weird musical detour I've ever taken.

“This is the best thing you've ever done.”

So… I made something worthy of it. The HOSTAGES visualizer is now up on YouTube. Two minutes of it existed for the original release, but I loved the world so much I finished the whole thing.

Put on headphones. Turn off the lights.

Hey Fam,

First of all, I'm still pinching myself that I got to collaborate with Petra Haden on a song. There's a whole story behind how that happened, and I'll tell it soon on Instagram — fittingly, the same place where the whole collaboration began.

But for now… some songs are better felt than explained.

Hi friends — today's the day.

My new single, GENERATIONAL TRAUMA, is officially out everywhere. It's one of the biggest pop songs I've ever written — equal parts shimmering guitars, synths, an 80s sax solo, and the reminder that we all inherit things we'd rather leave behind.

And because I apparently can't do anything the normal way, I also made a ridiculous Back to the Future–inspired video where Marty McFly accidentally travels a little too far back in time.

If you enjoy either one, sharing it with a friend or adding the song to a playlist genuinely helps more than you know.

I was so honored to win Best Pop Album at the 2026 New Mexico Music Awards. This album doesn't drop until December and it's already racking up the wins. Thanks for being a part of that journey.

And the journey continues with “snoopdoggguardianangel.” It documents the surreal true story — on the saddest day of my life, I packed a suitcase and rolled it into a hotel elevator with… Snoop Dogg waiting to greet me on the next chapter of my new life.

Tonight at midnight, my new single FINALLY FOUND THE PIECES is out everywhere.

This is the one that came out of that strange, quiet phase after everything falls apart… where you're not fully wrecked anymore, but not exactly okay either.

Also — this song is what happens when you listen to way too much Sade during that initial phase of a breakup. It's slower, softer, and probably the most honest thing I've released in a while.

Also dropped something a little unhinged: I asked AI to ruin the song in 7 completely different genres. Country, hyperpop, pop punk, opera… it gets weird.
